Dr. Avi Blashka received his Doctorate in Dental Science in 2013 from New York University College of Dentistry. Subsequently, in 2014, he attended a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx to broaden his dental knowledge. Dr Blashka worked in private practice for nearly a decade before returning to further his education at Maimonides Medical Center for two years to specialize in pediatric dentistry.

He spent much of his time at Maimonides focusing on advanced pediatric dental subjects and procedures such as advanced behavior management techniques, white (zirconia) crowns, dental materials and pulpal treatment in the immature permanent and primary dentition.

Dr. Avi has extensive experience treating sedated children in tandem with anesthesiologists in an office setting as well as hospital setting. He is proud to offer dental services under sedation in tandem with a dental anesthesiologist at Pristine Pediatric Dental.

Dr Avi is a proud father and prides himself on treating your child like his very own. Fun Fact: Dr Avi is a huge Harry Potter fan-try to stump him on anything Harry Potter related!
